Jabalpur, 22nd November 2023: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Govt. Excellence School, Jabalpur, organized a one-day Free Health Check-up Camp on 20th November 2023 at Primary School, Barkheda village. The initiative aimed to provide basic health consultations and awareness to underprivileged villagers. \nA team of four doctors from the District Government Hospital, including a pediatrician and a general physician, rendered their services. Over 250 villagers underwent routine health screenings, including blood pressure tests, blood sugar checks, and eye examinations. Free essential medicines and vitamins were distributed to patients based on prescriptions. \nIn addition, student volunteers conducted a street play (Nukkad Natak) highlighting the importance of personal hygiene, clean drinking water, and vector-borne disease prevention. The Village Sarpanch expressed deep gratitude to the school administration and NSS volunteers for their selfless community service.
