ANNUAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATED WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM

Ujjain: Government High School, Ujjain, celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 15th November 2023 on the school playground with immense excitement and zeal. The event commenced at 9:00 AM with the unfurling of the school flag by the Chief Guest, the District Sports Officer, followed by a disciplined march past by the four houses—Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. \nVarious track and field events were organized, including the 100m sprint, 400m relay, long jump, shot put, and a fun lemon-and-spoon race for junior classes. Students participated with great sportsmanship and vigor. Blue House emerged as the overall champion, winning the coveted General Trophy, while Master Rohan of Class 9 was declared the Best Athlete of the year. \nThe Chief Guest distributed trophies and medals to the winners and lauded the school administration for promoting physical education alongside academics. The Principal delivered the vote of thanks, praising the dedication of the physical education teachers and student volunteers. The event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
