Biotic factors are living organisms that harm crops, which include insects/pests, plant pathogens (such as fungi, bacteria, and viruses), and weeds or rodents. Abiotic factors are non-living environmental stresses, including drought, salinity, waterlogging, extreme heat or cold, and severe frost, all of which reduce crop yield and seed germination.
