Today, I stand before you to speak on a topic that touches everyone's life at some point: "The Importance of Learning from Failure and Starting Fresh," inspired by the beautiful poem Another Chance by Helen Steiner Rice. \nIn our daily school life, we often face challenges. We might receive low marks in a test, lose a sports competition, or fail to perform well in a co-curricular activity. During such times, it is easy to feel discouraged and feel like giving up. But the poem reminds us that we should never give up in despair, because there is always a tomorrow and a fresh hope of living. \nHere are three important lessons from the poem that we all should remember:

1. Inner Desire Matters Most: The poet emphasizes that to make a brand-new start, we do not need a new year or a new day. All we need is a deep desire and a sincere heart to try again. Real change comes from within us, not from calendar dates.
2. Learn and Forgive: We must learn to "blot out our mistakes." Instead of crying over past failures, we should analyze our errors, forgive ourselves, and work harder to achieve better results next time.
3. Spread Positivity: While working on our own improvement, we should also try to "add a little sunshine" to the lives of our classmates by encouraging them when they feel down. \nDear friends, failure is not the end of the road; it is simply a bend in the road.
