Ohm's Law is a fundamental principle in electrical science which states that the physical electric current flowing directly through a metallic conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference applied across its two ends, provided that all physical conditions and temperature of the conductor remain completely constant. Mathematically, this relationship is expressed as V is equal to the product of current I and resistance R, or written as V equals IR. Here, V represents the potential difference measured in volts, I represents the electric current measured in amperes, and R represents the electrical resistance of the conductor measured in ohms, maintaining a linear relationship.
